It Worked!

In all truth, this should be a very sad blog. Two days ago I was going to say that I wouldn't be able to get that slideshow that I had worked on for months onto a DVD. I had tried and tried and nothing was working! Finally I had given up. But, God is most surprising and I was fooling around with my program today and somehow got it to burn properly and without hassle so I know have a proper DVD with the slideshow on it as well as most of the good videos. It's hard for me to comprehend that God would care about something so insignificant as a stupid slideshow. I had stopped praying about it working too, but He had His own designs (as always) which were much better than my own (as always)!. So I will have a copy for each of you soon and Weaver and Charis, I still have all your videos and pictures and I think I will give it all to you when I see you in August. 14 Years of Marriage

15 years and 2 months ago this amazing Lady said "Yes" and the rest is history. Somedays I still pinch myself to know that 14 years ago she said to me (and the preacher) "I Do". Is God not the greatest? Even htough we don't deserve the best things He gives them to us anyway:)

A Sad relization!!!

Hey my dear friedns!!
Wow it has been sooo long scince I have posted!! Camp is going great with its hard days and moments but all in all its good!!
So i had a very sad relization a couple weeks ago and have told some of you about it and am going to tell you again!!!
So my girls and I were on top of the climbing tower and Charis was doing a devo for us!! ( she did an amazinf job!!) and one of my girls said something about dancing! I had a falsh back to when I was in ballet and remeberd having to do pleaes ( spelt that soo wrong!) anyways and I was like wow I sucked at those...... Them it dawend on me all my jokes about if I was a balllarina I would be the most ungraceful ballarina ever.. .Well guess what... I was in ballet and I relized that I was the most ungraceful ballerina there!!
So that was my sad relization... I AM SOO UNGRACEFUL!!!!!!! Hahaha one day a man will love that about me!!!
I miss you guys alll soooo much.. come visit me!!

The Boogeyman Cometh

Ugh! Have you ever had a conversation where it's like talking to a brick wall? That was pretty much the conversation I had with my landlord. He is not a Christian and is too intellectual for his own good. In a nutshell, he believes in a "diety" that is everywhere and in everything and is in us, or wait maybe we are god. Sheesh! And he's all like, I totally respect you're beliefs and the need for you too believe that but then later on, turns around and says that Christianity is a bunch of baloney, "even though it has done a lot of good". And he treats me like a child, because he's "older" and "wiser", I am young and therefore wrong. If I keep questioning, I may one day reach his level of maturity. *sigh* Sorry, I just needed to vent. So how do you guys handle people like that, people who take everything you say and twist it or manipulate the conversation so that the real questions are avoided no matter how many times you try to bring them up? It's frustrating. I hope all of you are doing well and can't wait to see you soon. Take care.
